Our established client is actively seeking CNC Machinists - Levels 1 thru 5 to join our precision, quick response, build-to-print manufacturing team.

In this role, you will make precision fabricated and machined parts and assemblies for a variety of high-tech industries.

This role requires professional machinists who can read and understand engineering drawings, edit programs as needed, complete machine set-ups, and produce quality parts in a cost-effective and safe manner.

Key responsibilities for CNC Machinists ...

• Responsible for showing a strong understanding of the CNC programming and set up functions. Provides technical support to the CNC programming and set up functions.
• Developing, implementing and on-going supervision of the company’s CNC production process.
• On-time delivery of all completed CNC customer orders
• Ensuring that all CNC equipment is maintained in conformance with the company’s preventative maintenance process and the manufacturer’s requirement
• Responsible for providing high quality CNC programming, program editing, and set up functions
• Providing strong / direct daily guidance to the CNC employees to ensure the daily production goals are achieved for all shifts
• Responsible for working closely with the QA manager and Engineering team to eliminate or reduce the cost of re-work

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for CNC Machinists .. .

• 5-10 years CNC programming / set up experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in CNC or tooling production.
• Must have strong math skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees of varying education levels.
• Must be competent at inspecting and precision measuring with the utilization of different measuring devices including but not limited to : micrometers, height gages and indicators

Training and Experience for CNC Machinists ...

• Required : High School diploma or GED.
• Supervisory or Management experience required
